While on hiatus from her more familiar musical approach, Mary and I sat down and discussed working on a side project she had always wanted to do which would blend all of the best elements of 80's pop with an overdriven sex appeal. She described it as "Michael Jackson and Stacey Q meet the hair band Poison on a porno set...".
Naturally, this appealed to me for a million reasons, and off we went.
Mary's perfect vocal blend of punky femme and soaring siren combine to sit perfectly amongst big guitars, wacky sound effects, and relentless beats.
Three words come to mind: Girls, girls, girls!
The project is called 'M5', and is currently a work in progress...
