Initially recorded as part of pre-production for the 'MARATHON' album in the fall of '07, the raw and unequivocal vocal Dan delivered on this day is not only strong enough to stand on it's own as an outstanding acoustic performance, but has just the right amount of petulance to authentically sell the lyrics.
A few creative embellishments while I mixed it, and voila – in my opinion, one of the most poignant "guy with a guitar" songs you'll ever hear.
