Welcome to The Sonic Spa!
After nearly 15 years of various Entertainment industry involvement (from major record labels and management companies to national cable TV stations and “big house” recording studios), in 2003, Toronto native and multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/Producer Jon Mychal returned from a 2 year stint in New York with the goal of bringing that combined experience forward to create the perfect space for indie artists to channel their thoughts, ideas and creativity, without the pretense and inflated rates most recording studios had become famous for.
The result was ‘The Sonic Spa’ – a modern facility with an old school vibe; a ‘word of mouth’ destination for anyone with a song and the desire to share it.
It’s 2011, and that ‘grassroots’ approach is more relevant than ever…
